The Burial of Anthony Oni - USA to Nigeria

Donation protected
Anthony Olugbenga Oni was a man of few words that always looked at the silver lining of any situation that he was faced with.  Always moved with a level head and would help you see that any situation that you're going to is never as bad as what it appeared to be.

The last two years, he was in a battle for his life against colon cancer and still with each passing day, never displayed worry nor wanted anyone else to stress over his situation.  On Friday, July 19th, around the early hours of the morning, my father drew his last breath fighting to the very end never allowing his loved ones to see any form of weakness even through the indescribable pain that he was facing through movement, breathing and the desire to not let his family see him as he was.

His wish with hopes of overcoming his battle with cancer was to go back home to Nigeria and live out the rest of days in peace and tranquility knowing that his four children were going to be okay on their separate paths in life.  Unfortunately,  he did not overcome his battle with cancer BUT he can still make it back home to be buried in the country he held some much love and pride for, Nigeria.

Bless anyone who is able to support this cause of raising money to help send his body back to Nigeria for his funeral and burial as it was one of his goals before he was even faced with cancer.   As we move forward, we will not mourn his death but celebrate his life as he would want all of us to live and be happy.
