The Big Shave & Half Marathon

Ok firstly thanks for taking the time to open and read this post.

Myself & Ebony have decided to put together a couple of challenging events, both mentally and physically, to raise money for the Breast Cancer Foundation/Leukemia Fountion and Palliative Care Australia. 

Firstly, the huge one is Ebony has decided to shave her head....YES SHAVE HER HEAD!!! This is to not only raise awareness & money but also donate her hair to be used as a wig for people receiving cancer treatment.

I will also continue growing my beard and shaving this (but not as dramatic).

SECONDLY

We are both not the greatest runners so have signed up to run a half marathon. In the morning we will do the shave and in the evening the half marathon!

This will be in Brisbane on the 19th March 2017

Cancer effects all our lives differently & with my time working in the Cancer teams at the Hospital in England, I know how much every little can help.
