Madi’s Birthday Fundraiser

Hello! As some of you may know, my birthday is coming up soon. One thing most people know about me is that I have a deep love for animals. I knew this year that instead of asking for any gifts that I wanted to ask for donations to go towards bettering animals lives or something of that nature. However, with so many wonderful organizations, I wasn’t sure which one to pick. Just recently a professor of mine passed away. Although I only had her for a semester, she made a great impact on me and taught me so much. She was a truly inspirational women. My professor, Karen Dalke, was also a huge animal lover and advocate. To honor her memory, and one of her passions, her husband has created a fund in her name. This fund will be used to help aid UWGB students who are interning at a non-profit that works to improve the lives of animals. I decided that this is the perfect cause for me to choose. This fund will not only help to honor my professor, but it will also help other individuals who share a similar love for animals. On my birthday, August 18th, I will be writing a check for how ever much money is donated on Gofundme and will be sending it to the UW-Green Bay Foundation. I truly do not need anything for my birthday, but if you want to donate to this fund, The Karen Dalke Award fund, it would mean a great deal to me. Thank you all so much.
