The American Dream Burned into Ashes

The American Dream,
                          burned down to ashes!

               
Mayra Serrano is an inspiring woman who works for a dear friend of mine.

Mayra, like many others of us, migrated from her home country (El Salvador) some 10 years ago with her daughter, having to leave behind her son, in search of a better life here in the US.

About six months ago, her son was finally able to join her in Miami and since it was their first time enjoying with one another in almost a decade, Mayra was living some of the happiest days of her life. 

But last week, due to some careless issues with electricity wiring, her entire home burned down and she lost all her belongings. 

I have opened a bank account to collect funds for her during the month of July to help her and her children get back on their feet after such a tragic accidente.  

Any donation is more than appreciated.

This will also help her daughter who recently graduated from High School and is due to start college in the fall on a full scholarship for academic merit.
