Thank you and Congrats, Sarai!

Hey there, Greenville.
I don't know if you've heard the awesome news, but Sarai Bautista is graduating from TriCounty Technical College on Monday!
As you probably know, Sarai is a dedicated community organizer and educator who spends the little free time she has advocating for other DACA participants and educating others on immigration reform.
What you may not know is that despite living in South Carolina for the past 11 years, Sarai was forced to pay out-of-state tuition and wasn't permitted to receive any state or federal scholarships because she is a DREAMer.
This policy is rooted in racism and ignorance and is one of many focal points Sarai has pressured SC lawmakers to address.
For her graduation, I'm asking everyone who knows, loves, and has learned from Sarai to step up and show your appreciation for her excellent community work by donating to a fund to help her pay her tuition loans.
If you have heard her speak, if you have read her interviews, if you have witnessed her work online or in person, chip in to say thank you.
Donate to show that she has been seen.
Donate to show that she has been heard.
Donate to show that her hard work and tireless efforts have not gone unnoticed.
The goal I have set is just a starting point. I hope we, as a community and beyond, can crush it to show her our support and appreciation.
So, take a minute out of your day to donate a few dollars and to share her story with others so that they may be inspired to donate as well.
Congratulations on your graduation, Sarai! And thank you for everything <3
