Missions in Thailand

Hi I'm Lydia! (You probably already knew that.) Anyway, I've been given the opportunity to travel to Chiang Mai, Thailand for 10 weeks starting in January 2015 with Logos School of Missions! This is an amazing opportunity to live, learn, and serve in a new country.
I will be staying at the Logos Communications International facilites located just outside of Chiang Mai. On weekdays I will be taking Bible school classes, with an emphasis on missions and Thai culture. Then on the weekends I will be serving the Thai people near Chiang Mai, and also the hill-tribes of Thailand and into Burma (Myanmar.) I will have the opportunity to take toys and supplies to orphanages and medical supplies to remote villages. I am going to Thailand to be a blessing to other people, but I'm convinced that I will not come back unchanged myself.
I have one problem. I need approximately $5,000 in order to do all of these great things. So I'm asking you, will you please consider supporting me financially on my trip to Thailand? More importantly, I would love it if you would pray for me, and the other members of LSOM, as we venture out on this journey. A few things to pray for are:
-The LSOM team 
-Effective communication of the Gospel
-Health and safety
-Open hearts to know Jesus personally
