Hello, my name is Anthony Briggs and I am an asst. coach for the 14U Tri City Flames, and I am from Petersburg Va., and with your help our feat can be accomplished. Everything raised will go directly into getting the team to Florida.
Well Tri Cities....WE DID IT!!!!!! The 14U team of The Tri City Flames Youth Football & Cheer won the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!! On Saturday November 11th, 2017 14U traveled to Williamsburg, Va and braved freezing temperatures, delayed games and injuries to play another awesome team and with sheer determination and perseverance Tri City Flames 14U pulled off a stunning win with a score of 13-6. With the awesome feet under our belt we secured our spot in Nationals in Plant, Florida in December. Now more than ever is when we need the support of our communities!
The mission of Tri City Flames Youth Football is to provide youth with organized competitive sports and life training in a safe environment, while teaching sportsmanship and instilling the values of education and discipline. This team is made up of 21 young men ages 12-14 years old and 4 coaches who have worked hard through sweat, injuries and tears to make it to this point. Their hard work and dedication has afforded them this opportunity to represent themselves, their parents, The Tri City Flames organization and the state of Virginia in Florida. These awesome young men and coaches finished the season with a State Championship win!!!!
With this trip brings a great financial obligation and we are asking for your help. No amount is too great or too small as we are a non-profit organization that lives off of the donations and volunteerism of our coaches, staff and parents, with that being said we will gratefully accept any amount you may be able to donate. Our goal is to raise at least $10,000 to help cover the cost associated with this trip, such as fees, transportation, fuel, lodging, and food.
