Terri's Trek
Donation protected
Terri Mroz Davis has been an important part of this community for decades. Through the North Collins Save A Lot, she has helped to provide donations for fundraisers, school events and other community gatherings over the course of 20 years without hesitation.
Today, we are asking for aid in return, on behalf of our mother.
For nearly two months, Terri has been going through rigorous testing through a few institutions, including Roswell Park in search for complete diagnosis. Due to complications, a complete diagnosis will not be available until her surgery. What we do know, is that she has a very large tumor, assumed malignant, in her pelvic region. Surgery has been put off multiple times due to other complications including pulmonary embolisms, collateral veins and a continuing weakening of her surrounding organs. However the Team at Roswell Park Cancer Institute recommend this coming surgery as opposed to chemotherapy, as her body will be unable to strengthen while containing this mass.
Since further diagnosis is not possible until this risky surgery, Roswell Park will be treating the tumor and presumed cancer as stage 3 or 4 ovarian cancer.
With that, we are asking for charity regarding a heap of debts that have come our family’s way.
Donations will provide assistance towards debts after insurance;
-Hospital Stays
-Medical Testing
-Medicine
-In Home Nurse care
-Future Rehabilitation Center Costs
-Future Equipment costs (if needed)
-Roswell Consultations/surgery/recovery
As Terri's children, we have given up so much in support of our mother, all with no regret. However, between care taking, inheriting her debts, losing time at work, and one of us traveling back and forth from Oklahoma, we do not have any more to give, in terms of capital.
We thank you for your consideration in this difficult time.
Thank you from her children,
