Terence Quong "Q" AML Medical Fund

One of our dear friends has recently been diagnosed with leukemia. Terence Quong, most of you know him as "Q", is currently undergoing treatment for this terrible cancer.
On Friday, May 26th, Q was admitted to the hospital and on Sunday, May 28th a biopsy has confirmed that he has AML. As you can imagine this has been quite a shock for Q and his family. They have had their hands full with medical test, doctors and insurance. They don't know what the total cost of treatment will be or how long Q will be in the hospital (current minimum estimation is 28 days), but we felt we needed to start something to help alleviate any financial stress so they can focus on treatment and healing. The money donated will be used to pay for medical expenses not covered by insurance and to help with living expenses. Please keep Q in your thoughts and thank you for your support. A little more about Q's Diagnosis:
Leukemia is cancer of the blood and bone marrow (the soft material in the center of most bones). Acute leukemia usually develops quickly. The number of leukemia cells increases rapidly, and these abnormal cells don’t do the work of normal white blood cells. People with acute leukemia may feel very tired, bruise easily, and get infections often. Q's diagnosis, specifically, is "Acute myeloid leukemia" (AML) and it affects myeloid cells and grows quickly. Leukemic blast cells collect in the bone marrow and blood. The drugs used for leukemia may be given through a thin needle directly into a vein (intravenously) and as pills and liquids that you swallow. The drugs enter the bloodstream and can kill leukemia cells almost all over the body.

For those of you who do not know me I am a friend of Q and Tran. I am running the GoFundMe campaign on their behalf so they can focus on the important things like positivity and recovery.
