Tequila Gracia Memorial Fund

On December 16th 2018 our hearts were broken when we recieved the news that our beautiful mother, daughter, sister and Friend, 36yr old Tequila Garcia of west valley city, ut was tragically taken from us in what police are calling a senseless act of violence. Just after 2am an argument broke out at the residence shared between Tequila and 2 roommates she had so generously opened her home to for the holiday season regarding rent money owed to her and it quickly escalated. Tequila who at the time was only asking for them to return her house keys and leave quitely was intentionally struck then ran over by the suspects vehicle as they sped away leaving her alone, injuried in the street just outside her home. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, our sweet girl passed away a short while later at the scene of the crime. Although she was loved so dearly by so many, we are not sure how to cover the enormous expenses required to give her the proper burial she is so deserving of and in turn are asking for help to lay her to rest. Tequila was the most fun loving, charismatic and caring person anyone could have known and to say she would give someone the shirt off her back is an understatement. She loved to make people laugh and was truly the life of the party with that big beautiful smile on her face. She was always so happy, contagiously happy to be exact and willing to help any and everyone especially animals and I can honestly say that there was not a day that went by where she would not say "Be happy, we're ALIVE"!  She truly loved life and everyone in it and we are all going to be so lost without her here.
