Tenlee Grey Alberalla's Heart Journey

Hi everyone,
My beautiful baby niece, Tenlee Grey, was born February 28th 2019, weighing 6lbs 14oz. She is the most perfect little angel anyone could ask for and we are so thankful that she is a tough little warrior. Unfortunately, she is suffering from Congenital Heart Disease. Congenital Heart Disease is when there is an abnormality in the heart that forms before birth.
Tenlee’s journey has been much different than we originally had anticipated. Since birth, her heart function has significantly diminished, in addition to the structural abnormalities that she already has.
On March 6th, at just under a week old, Tenlee underwent her first surgery, known as Hybrid Stage 1 Procedure. They placed bands on her Pulmonary Arteries to restrict blood flow to the lungs in which allowed more blood flow to the body. Then a stent was placed in the patent ductus arteriosus. She is currently being monitored in hopes that her muscles will grow stronger, however, we have been told to plan for the possibility of a heart transplant.
Nick and Jami, Tenlee's parents, have been so strong throughout this process. They relocated to Philly, to be near CHOP (Children's Hospital of Philadelphia) and brought their 21 month old daughter, Savannah, with them.They decided to move to Philly, with their daughter, to keep their family together and cherish every moment with Tenlee. At this time, Tenlee’s next step is unknown but we are grateful for each day that we have with our sweet baby girl.
This donation will help with so many aspects of their current livelihoods; financial restrictions should never be at the forefront when dealing with a life-threatening disease for a newborn.
