Urgent! Food needed for hungry temple dogs & cats


Maechee Nid is a nun at Wat Huay Salengpan in Pranburi, Thailand. She cares for over 200 dogs and 100 cats. She uses nearly 30 bags of dog food every month! Her temple is unfortunately one of those that receives many unwanted dogs and cats, often just left there.

This campaign seeks to provide Maechee Nid with a 2-month supply of dog and cat food as well as sterilization for about 30 dogs. A dog rescue organization in Hua Hin will help coordinate the food purchase and drop off to Wat Huay Salengpan. Sterilzation of the 30 dogs on-site will help to maintain the dog population and stop unwanted litters.

60 x 20 lb bags of dog/cat food at 580 THB each (16.50 USD)
30 dog sterilizations at 600 THB each (17 USD)

Total =  52,800 THB (1,500 USD)
