Puebla, Mexico- Earthquake Relief

$2,386 of $5,000 goal

Raised by 35 people in 12 months
Hi all,
As most are aware by now, a devastating earthquake shook central Mexico. Several states were affected and many people have lost their lives. My hometown was severely affected as were neighboring states. I am in contact with several friends and family members organizing collections and distributions of aid in the form of food, clothing, higiene products, medicine, and many more items that are becoming necessary such as construction materials, flashlights, etc. I will be making my way down there shortly. I know most of us lead lives with our own worries and stresses. But if all of us help out, even with a very small amount, those in need and suffering from this tragedy will be greatly benefited. Mexico is a beautiful country and if you've ever been there, you have experienced the warmth and love of its people. I am organizing this and committing myself to delivering this help. Any and all of your help will be extremely appreciated and beneficial. I hope you have a great day. Know that all of those affected will feel your love. Viva México. #fuerzamexico #fuerzapuebla #fuerzamorelos

Update:

First of all, extreme gratitude towards anyone who has helped us, in whatever manner you have done it. Thank you for your solidarity. Secondly, many of the most vulnerable and hardest hit communities are also the ones receiving the least aid. Those on the ground we are assisting and coordinating with have it as a goal and mission to visit and help these communities. We all thank you for your generosity. Lastly, I provide some pictures of some of the visits made to these affected areas. You can see the need and devastation, let's continue helping.

All,
I am humbled by the response from my friends, family, and also those whom I do not yet know. I thank you all. Friends and family have already begun the deliveries and assistance to some of the most impacted rural communities. Many of the poorest and most affected communities are being overlooked while the larger cities receive all of the attention and aid. These smaller and lesser known communities need our help. Here are some pictures of the assistance. This is my aunt along with a group of volunteers. Their own hometowns were affected, and yet, they are traveling to assist those who are in greater need! Thank you again. Let's keep this going!
