Edward's run for World Challenge

In November I have the opportunity to travel to India and Sri Lanka to help build school rooms, toilets and other infrastructure for local children… But I need your help.
Late into the year of 2016, I applied for the World Challenge; an organisation which takes students to foreign and often more disadvantaged countries to help out struggling communities by building infrastructure for local children (also experiencing the country first hand by hiking and traveling). This is to teach students and teachers alike about values and life skills by experiencing the world first hand.
I was fortunate enough to get into the program, and now have the opportunity to travel to India and Sri Lanka in November this year... Under one condition, I have to raise $7,500 to be able to fund my trip.
After a lot of time trying to find a job and constantly fixing up my resume, I realized that I wasn't going to reach my target just by earning money in a job. I knew that if I wanted to go overseas I had to try something which would get me to the target faster. So I started up this fundraiser to try and earn enough money to be able to travel to India and South Sri Lanka.
At the end of May this year I will be running in the "Sri Chinmoy Como Landing" half marathon along the Yarra River to hopefully raise enough money to be able to go on my trip.
