TechCamp is a vacation camp which we are organizing for High School Students in Ghana. The aim of the camp is to teach high school students state of the art technologies that drive industries towards Technological advancement.
To make this vacation camp accessible to all we are running this camp free of charge to the selected students. The camp involves two weeks of theory and hands-on tutorials and a final week for short projects where students will work in groups to build prototypes and software to solve a real-world problem. We have in place the Computing and Hardware needs, we, however, want to provide the students with food during the 3 weeks period so that: 1. Students without funding can easily attend the camp 2. Students can concentrate on the learning process without thinking of what to eat. The main expense left uncovered for the camp is food. That is breakfast, lunch, and supper. We are budgeting an amount of about €5.00 per student a day for 21 days for 30 students. We, therefore, need an amount of about €3,000.00 to cover this cost. We plan to make TechCamp a yearly event and this year's camp is from 4th August 2018 to 24th August 2018
The organizers will be happy and very grateful for any amount that you can contribute and we promise to send anyone who contribute pictures of the event at the end.
