My name is Brian Frejo and I am a motivational speaker, cultural advocate and youth supporter. Earlier this year, I created an all-Native girls independant basketball team called Team Storm. The girls come from reservations from all over the plains. Tribes represented are Comanche, Pawnee, Dakota, Wichita, Sac & Fox, Otoe-Missouria, Cheyenne-Arapaho, Seminole, Creek, Potawatomi, Kickapoo, Kiowa, Caddo, Choctaw, Apache, and Lakota Oyate.
Coaching this incredible team has been yet another opportunity for me to empower our aspiring native youth and to assist them in achieving their dream goals.
The team has committed to fitness training, basketball skills development and life goal work since March 2015. The girls are excited, extremely dedicated and motivated. I am so proud of them.
The team is AMAZING and they are off to a running start. When you see them play, you will be so proud too. They took 1st place at their first tournament and won several games and tournaments that followed.
I am writing to ask for your support so that we can play at Native American Basketball Invitational, OK Roundball and USJN Tournaments this summer.
