Acute Lymphoblastic Luekemia (ALL): three words a parent is never prepared to hear. Jack and Kari heard the news on January 31st, 2016, that their 11 yr old daughter, Kya, had been diagnosed with ALL. Although hearing this news can be a parents worst nightmare, there is peace knowing that the Lord is in control of every situation.
Kya loves Jesus. She is athletic, compassionate, energetic, creative, full of courage, and a great friend to many. We know that she will battle this with all she has, but that doesn't mean it will be easy.
Funds received will go towards Kya's medical care as she undergoes intense chemotherapy and a battery of invasive tests over the next year.
Her family and friends have blessed her tremendously with their love and support. She continues to feel the prayers and encouragement from everyone who has rallied behind her, but there is still a lot that we can do to help ease the financial burden.
We are so thankful that there are such amazing people that are willing to step up and help Kya in anyway possible!
