Jace Daniel Ortiz's Love Fund
Donation protected
The purpose of Jace's Love Fund is to assist his family with medical and funeral expenses.
Jace Daniel Ortiz was born in Amarillo, Tx on May 30, 2008. He was born with a heart defect that limited our time with him. Although he endured several surgeries, many hospital admissions, countless Dr. appointments and had to take many medicines daily, he went on each day with a smile on his face and always looking on the bright side of every situation.
In an effort to protect Jace, he wasn’t able to leave the house very often. He was infatuated with shows such as Chicago Fire and Chicago PD. He had so much interest in talking to policemen and firefighters. Jace considered them Heroes for their bravery and courage. They inspired him to be as brave and courageous as they were.
Jace entered the gates of God’s kingdom on February 10, 2016. While awaiting heart transplant workup, he caught a cold virus causing his organs to fail.
Jace was a special boy in so many ways and was truly a testament to God’s Work. Jace was the best son a parent could ever ask for and we were blessed to have him in our lives.
