Team Ineka is Mushin' Down a Dream in the wilds of Alaska. We are a family run sled dog kennel that moved to Alaska in 2010. This year we have our sights set on an epic expedition with 10 people that will combine dog sledding, snow machining and fat tire biking in the wilds of Alaska with some of Alaska's future outdoor leaders.

We we will also be racing in several sprint and mid-distance races including the GinGin200, Willow 300, Northern Lights 300 and a few shorter races along the way in the 2016-17 season.

Our team is looking good. Last year even with the very limited snow we still ran over a thousand miles on the trails. We have four new additions, The WaG Crew, and the Oracle Crew is really growing up. Bastian and Atreyu are emerging leaders.

If you notice the new reward levels below we have some exciting ways for you to show your support. Of course you can still dontate any amount and we appeciate your willingness to become part of the team!

Special note to corporate and business sponsors: We will be traveling along the east coast, Denver area and San Antonio area, in late August and early July and this would be a great time for a presentation about our expedition, team building and leadership exercise.

Contact us anytime for more information.

Meet the WaG Crew!

Its been a busy winter at Team Ineka since we last updated. One of the most exciting things is our team's future was born in February. They are the WaG Crew. They are named Wallace, Gromit, Swiss and Skelling.

If you are familiar with the Wallace and Gromit animation shorts you know they love cheese! These four brothers are four months old now and will soon begin training.

If you would like to sponsor one of these guys or any member of the team there is a tab below.

Next winter we are doing something that we have had in the works for a long time. It will be called the Dreamchaser Expedition, we had planned this for last year but Jack Frost didn't bring us much snow.

In our next update we will tell you all about it.

See you on the trail!
