Hello Friends,
As many of you know, I am the current titleholder for Miss Africa Idaho and for Miss Black Idaho US AM. I have been working hard to make these titles really mean something to the community and prove that pageantry isn't only about being a pretty face. My platform when I received these titles was to promote positive mental health by helping bringing awarness to many mental health conditions and to help remove the stigma that comes along with having mental health issues. I have been able to attend and speak at many various events and groups regarding mental health, start two amazing youth groups in my community (Youth M.O.V.E. and G.E.M.S.), join the fight against bullying & suicide in my state and mentor many at-risk youth within some of the local facilities. I plan to continue this amazing journey once I pass on my titles but my hope is that I will be able to continue this journey with new titles. I did hold a couple fundraiser events earlier this year but was unable to meet my goal and time is counting down. I need your help with some of the expenses that I have been unable to cover myself. Miss Black US AM will be held in Atlana, GA on June 27, 2015 and Miss Africa USA will be in Washington D.C. on August 15, 2015. Please support me in these endeavors!
