Dear Friends, Family, Colleagues!
This will be our Super hero's 3rd year to participate and fund raise for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Light the Night Walk in San Francisco! Light The Night is a special night, celebrating and commemorating lives touched by cancer.
Aryan Prasad was just shy of his 5th birthday when he was first diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in 2013. It was a very difficult period, a challenging and emotional year for us all! After going through an intensive chemotherapy treatment and surgeries, Aryan is now in remission.
The maintenance (remission period) ends in September 2016! And we can't wait to celebrate this long journey. Today, my little super hero continues his monthly chemotherapy, quartely PPU - Spinal Tab and continously takes 15+ oral chemotherapy pills a week! Nonetheless, we are so proud and blessed to have Aryan in our lives! He is a symbol of hope, courage and bravery for all of us. His sportmanship, kindness, resilience, and living the life to fullest attitude keeps us all going!
This Year, our walk will be very SPECIAL. Very emotional as we embark on a new journey free of chemo and medicines. Reminiscing the moments of fear, hope, love and FAITH! Team Aryan is grateful to all our families, friends, and coworkers for continually providing your love and support!
We are also indebted to the amazing Oakland Oncology doctors and nurses saving and treating lives of precious little kids who are daily fighting this battle!
Team Aryan's fund raising will go towards treatments that save lives, and it's all due to people like you. Without your efforts The Luekemia and Lymphoma Society could not provide these lifesaving treatments. LLS is making cures happen with your help.
