TEAM SHANNA

Our beloved Shanna Tipton has been diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Cancer, in her pancreas and it has now moved to her liver. There are fewer than 200,000 US cases per year. Shanna is a single mother raising two children. Ashtyn her oldest child is a first year college student, she aspires to become a teacher like her mother. Connor recently turned 12 and is in the 6th grade. MD Anderson has Shanna scheduled for chemotherapy 5 days a week once a month at the hospital which is 35 miles from her home. Although the insurance is helping with some of the medical expenses, she still has everyday expenses, including household expenses.
