We would like to thank everyone from the bottom of hearts for the visits, phone calls, daily texts and out pouring of love. After Richard's bout in ICU for 3 months with his heart and having to be on life support. He developed ulcers and lacerations in his esphogas and was unable to swallow. After having an endoscopy done of his throat it was detected that Rich had cancer of the Espohgas. 2 days after that the pain struck being so intense that I brought him to the ER where he was given CT/PET scans and it was then determined that Rich had stage 4 esphogas cancer. The cancer has spread like wild fire and he is home on hospice. In a calm and loving environment with the kids. The kids do know yet we all have choose to protect them in not indicating the amount of time with him as we want them to focus on creating daily beautiful memories with him. We do ask that if you or anyone is to see our children or have contact with them we ask that you please keep it as postive as you can with them as each of them has accepted this in the own different ways. So please respect their feelings. Thank you everyone again for your out pouring of love and support during this time. The Drs have given me a time frame but we will lift Richard's name to the Lord as he is the one and only who knows when we are called home.
