Team New Zealand - Rebecca Health

Soon after Rebecca Health started with Special Olympics, she realized how sports helps her cope with symptoms related to cerebral palsy. In fact, she says her only break from the constant pain she feels is when she is skiing down the slopes. ʺI zone out of everything. It's my time. I forget everything, and it's just me and the slopes.ʺ Rebecca also participates in swimming and she got involved when she was young and still unable to walk. Her training regiment includes going to the gym three times a week for a mix of weights and cardio training.
