Team Karen: Beat Pancreatic Cancer

Hi, my name is Brianna Williams. This campaign is to raise money for my mom, Karen Williams, and her treatment in the fight against Pancreatic Cancer. My mom has been fighting Pancreatic Cancer for over three and a half years now.

While we have had immensely supportive friends and family who have been there either with their encouraging words, visits, or even sending food in the beginning, we are now at a very critical point in her fight. Her options are limited. The fight has gotten harder. The stakes are higher. She is fighting for her life.

One treatment option being considered is only available outside of the US and therefore not immediately covered by insurance. For me, it is important to raise this money so that my mom is able to make her decision as she continues to battle Pancreatic Cancer based on what she feels is best for her health and her life and not based on financial restrictions and financial stress. That is the last thing I want her concerned with. Now, more than ever, we ask that our friends and family rally together to not only lift her up in prayer and encouragement but also to donate and share this story with the people you know.

I know that my mom has a huge number of friends and supporters in the local community in Tuscaloosa, AL, back home in Florence, and beyond. I have full confidence that with your help we can reach this goal to help my mom with her treatments.
