Donation protected
Ashton David Walker is a spunky energetic 4 year old little boy. His life as well as the lives of his parents Shawn Walker and Emily Bottrell and his 9 month old twin sisters tradgically change with three words. Langerhans cell histiocytosis, also known as LCH. LCH is a rare cancer which involves the Langerhan white blood cells over producing which makes it harder to fight infections. LCH can cause tumors and damage organs.
Ashtons LCH was recently discovered after a rare trip to the ER in Northern MI, disclosed a lesion on Ashton skull. He was then sent to Devos Childrens Hospital in Grand Rapids, Mi. . His parents met with numerous Doctors to come up with a potentially long game plan. Starting with an operation involving Ashtons skull and the possibilities of chemotherapy on lesions in his lower extremities.
His family is now faced with finicial hardships with traveling, medical exspenses, and loss wages during this heart breaking time. They could use all the love and support in the world as they begin a journey no parent ever wants to take with their child.
So I ask you to please support #TeamAshton and his fight against childhood cancer.
