Andi Szathmary's Medical Treatments

Our beautiful friend Andi Szathmary has been battling esophageal cancer on and off now for the last 5+ years. She is a wonderful mother of 2 beautiful children, Taylor who has earned a scholarship and plays softball for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Parker who is in 6th grade and who is a very active young man turning 12 in May. She's married to her best friend Richard who has been by her side supporting her through this vicious battle.

Andi was hospitalized for a couple of weeks in December 2016 through January 2017 for pneumonia and pulmonary embolus. Last week, tests revealed that her cancer returned and has spread to her lungs, behind her stomach and around her heart. Doctors quickly started aggressive chemo treatments last Thursday. Although insurance has covered some of her medical expenses, the treatments cost $687 per month (which does not include transportation to/from her treatments or additional medical expenses).  

For those of you who know Andi, you know what an amazing, kind person she is. She is a loving mother and wife and needs our support! She has a smile that lights up a room and is an incredibly strong woman. Many of us admire her for her strength. We are asking for any and all prayers for her and her family during this difficult time.
