Team Alison - Needs Our Support

$350 of $4,000 goal

Raised by 7 people in 7 months
Since Alison's diagnosis in March it has been a complete roller coaster. I know many people have been along for the ride. She got through 6 months of difficult chemotherapy and is preparing for her double mastectomy on 8/27.  The next two months will be an extremely difficult recover period for Alison. She has worked really hard to keep the doors of Beyond Brows open (and they are) however after the surgery working will not be an option.  Lets all come together and help raise some money to help with rent for two places (salon and home), Food, Gas, and other vital expenses during the next two months until she is back to work.

Good Morning Everyone,

I wanted to take some time and update the fundraiser. I saw a little hate on my best friend’s Facebook earlier this week and wanted to take a quick minute to address that. Alison has been my friend for 20 years now we have been through a lot during those 20 years not once did she ever turn her back on me and even through her own struggles has always been a constant support to me. Alison was my first call the first time I could not wake Jayden up and the epilepsy saga began. Alison was on the phone the night of the day he received his Autism diagnosis telling me it would be okay, She was there on the phone through my 7 day pre term labor saga with Jaxon. No matter where she was or what battle she was fighting herself personally she was there for me and I will be here for her throughout this. Alison and her family do not use Facebook to post about the daily struggles she faces. They do not post that she hasn’t slept normal in 7 months, that her body is recovering from the massive aggressive chemotherapy she went through, that their bills are piling up and they really do not know how or when they will be paid. They use Facebook to share the memories they are making despite the struggle they post to show you that even though 22 hours of the day were challenging they had a good hour or two because they surround themselves with positive vibes instead of fueling the negativity they could easily do. If you do not want to donate that is cool but take your negativity else ware. Alison held an event at her salon days before her surgery for children that have lost a parent, that is the kind of women my best friend is, so I take real offense to someone coming at her.

I started this fundraiser not Alison nor Sam. I did so if someone needs to say something I am right here. If I was a millionaire I would help her myself, but I am not.
Alison’s double mastectomy went well!!!! It was a LONG surgery, but it was, successful, and she is home recovering. The last few days have been particularly hard because Alison has been in a lot of pain. Her spirit is strong, and I appreciate all the love and support everyone has given her.
