Teaching with the LRTT in Nepal
Donation protected
The LRTT approach the challenge of poor-quality education and growing shortage of teachers by connecting qualified teachers to develop their own teaching practice to inspire and empower communities of teachers around the world.
Nepal’s Himalayan terrain makes much of the country rural making teacher development difficult. The 2015 earthquake further set back the education system and today 90% of students aren’t able to pass English and Maths. In this setting teacher training is both challenging and crucial.
I’ll be working on the ground with a team of teachers from all around the world. We have a clear goal of effecting real change with the local teachers and the children in Nepal. Many of which continue to experience difficulties in getting an education most of us take for granted.
This is a voluntary placement. I need to raise these funds by June 5th 2017. Any help you can offer will make a real difference. Thank you.
