Teaching Canoe for Snake

For those of you who know Snake Ah Hee, you know he is a very humble man who normally would not ask for much.  He's had a dream to purchase a double hulled canoe that is easy to handle and wonderful to use to teach his grandchildren and children of the community.  In August of 2016 we had the opportunity to secure a canoe that is perfect for that . Due to unforseen circumstances, we are awaiting our non profit status, but we need to repay the donor for this canoe before it gets sold to repay the debt. we appreciate their assistance in securing the canoe although I am not sure how much time we have but I was told soon.  Snake is a waterman, a original crew member on Hokule'a since 1976, and being involved in all of the voyages since, while growing up fishing for his family, surfing, or paddling canoe, the ocean has been his playground. Snake wants to leave his legacy by teaching generations of his love of the sea.  We are heartbroken that we are in this predicament but we are, and your generous contribution toward this would be greatly appreciated. We will never forget your help in this time of need. I would like to return the money if we do not reach our goal as this will be an all or nothing request.
