Teacher's Christmas Gift

My name is Nathan Steenport and I am the principal of Northwest Elementary School in Pflugerville ISD. Northwest is a very diverse title 1 school with a history of student academic success and achievement.
Each December, I write a personal hand written thank you card to each staff member to thank them for the work they do for our students. This year, in addition to the handwritten cards, I would like to include a $25 gift card to Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) to show my grattitude. TPT is an online resouce our teachers use to pay other teachers from around the world for their teaching ideas. During my instructional walkthroughs this year I have noticed many new rigorous and engaging lessons during instruction. Most of them respond they purchased, with their own money, the lessons or activities from TPT.
So, in order to increase rigor and student engagement, show my staff how much I appreicate their work, and to support other teachers on TPT, I ask for these funds to purcahse a TPT gift card for each staff member in early December, 2017.
