Tri-Cities Little League , a non-profit, all-volunteer organization in West Dundee, Illinois, is aiming to acquire much needed lighting for the four playing fields at its Randall Oaks Recreational Center location.  Our little league, established in 1953, has over 650 players and is expected to grow substanially over the next few years. The league would like to increase our programs for offering baseball and softball to our recreational boys and girls and Challenger program kids.

Our fields are utilized by thousands of kids and parents from March through October each year from West Dundee, Ill. and various boundary communities. Having lights will allow our organization to expand utilization of these fields and get kids playing baseball at night.  It will bring families, friends, the community together more often to create these special life moments. With the amount of volunteer hours our coaches and managers give to our recreational kids and Challenger players, which range from 5-18 years of age, league officials deem the lighting system from Musco Lighting as a "high-priority" purchase.  Proposal from Musco and design.

Formal cost estimates for the lighting project with installation and purchase of 13 poles with environmentally friendly LED lighting fixtures nears $300,000. Any donation amount you can provide to our kids for the essential lighting structure will be greatly appreciated by children for generations to come. It is a wonderful way to give back to the youth and community by monetarily contributing something that will bring "light" to kids and America's favorite pasttime. All fundraising generated by gofundme online will be divereted to the Let There Be Light account opened at First American Bank in Dundee, Ill.

All donations generated through Gofundme will occur from April through June 2017, as our in-house recreational baseball and softball teams compete to generate fundraising for our lighting initiative. 

Parents, players, coaches, managers, families and community businesses will be participating in a fun Coach/Manager/Parent Exhibition Fundraising Game, where all proceeds generated will be directed to the lighting purchase. Teams generating overall highest donations for Let There Be Light will win Free Boomer's Buddy Night Tickets and a pizza party. Donations will be solicited by players and parents to sponsor dads,moms, coaches or managers participating in the exhibition game.
