Taylor’s Health!

On August 7th Taylor was diagnosed with Stage 2B Hodgkin’s’ Lymphoma.  At age 23, to hear the words, You have Cancer…. her life turned upside down.  Taylor was living in Ely Minnesota working at Piragis Northwoods, as an outfitter and trip guide for the Boundary Waters Canoe Area.  As a seasonal employee, she does not have any disability benefits.  She was forced take a leave from her work to come back to the cities the fight this disease head on!

They were lucky enough to get her admitted to Mayo Clinic and be treated by the best team of doctors thus far.  Her treatment will consist of chemotherapy every 2 weeks for 6 months, followed by radiation to ensure they get it all.  The last 3 weeks have been filled with many tests and procedures, doctor appointments, a 3-day hospital stay, and her 1st round of chemotherapy.

We are asking for your support to help Taylor fight her cancer without the financial worries; due to the side effects of chemotherapy she will be unable to work and support herself for a minimum of 8 months. Taylor can use these funds to cover her current monthly expenses, as well as the expenses related to her treatment, cost of transportation to and from Mayo Clinic in Rochester on a regular bases and any unexpected expenses that could arise while she KICKS CANCER!!!
