Taylor’s Colon Cancer Fund
At age 26, I was recently diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. The upcoming surgery will require that I be out of work for weeks, as well as potentially during the course of chemotherapy after my tumor is removed. My fiancé is wonderful and picking up some extra shifts at work to help supplement our income and I love her for it. But I don’t want her killing herself to make ends meet with me being out of work for an extended period of time. Therefore, I am asking for some help as the impending medical bills start to add up and I won’t be able to work. Please don’t feel obligated to donate, but I do greatly appreciate any and all help that we can get during this difficult time. Thank you.+ Read More
Hi all, I just wanted to share an update now that I’m back at home and feeling a bit better. My surgery went well, though it was quite a bit more invasive and extensive than it was originally expected to be. I’m just glad that my surgeon is very confident he got everything out that seemed concerning while he was operating. I’m now back at home after spending the majority of the last 5 days in the hospital after surgery. The amount of support Courtney and I have received throughout this entire process so far is more than I ever could have asked for. We have the best support system of family and friends that anyone could ask for and are truly grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you all so much for the continued support as my road to recovery starts.
