Taylor Phelan | Stolen Gear Fund

Our van was broken into on Saturday, July 14. A total of about $13,000 was stolen. We don’t usually keep that much in the van but at this particular time we were preparing for a flight and had just parked in what we thought was a safe area. We left the van unattended for about 6 hours in the afternoon and when we came back someone smashed our passenger-side window, unlocked the doors, stole one of our bags, a computer, two Kempers (guitar amps), two pedal boards, a projector, several cases, cables and a ton of intellectual property.  On the bright side, a decent portion of our stolen gear was insured. We will however need to replace the computer, software, cases, hard drives, repair the window, etc. 100% of this gear fund will go to replacing what can be replaced in this unfortunate scenario that plagues touring musicians the world over.
