Many in Johnson City turn to the Taylor family when they need a coach for a sports team, volunteers for a community event, someone to talk through a problem, or want to spend time with good friends. Jim, Candice, Caleb, and Jacob are staples in the Johnson City community and beyond.
The summer of 2018 started as a typical Taylor family summer. Jim coached Jacob and the Partners Insurance Baseball team through a Little League Championship win. Caleb, playing both High School and Legion baseball, was constantly on the run. Candice made sure her own family and others were fed and where they needed to be before each game. She volunteered at the concession stand and rooted on each member of the various sporting teams her kids were on. Caleb and Jacob opened their arms to new teammates, always making them feel welcome.
In Mid-July, Candice was diagnosed with breast cancer. The surprising news thew a curve ball to the Taylor family. With quick action by local medical staff, a game plan has been established and Candice is already fighting to hit that curve ball over the fence.
While Candice fights to beat cancer, we're fighting to minimize the Taylor family worries in true Taylor family style; a jam packed weekend of sporting events and fun!
