Tawobi Neighborhood Struggle Rapper

A member of one of Philadelphia's local artist collective's HBC (Highest Basement Collective), Tawobi  is a rapper who's been rapping for a while with small to minor success. His music is as different as his name but his story, and current situation, is that of many young artists who try their hand in making music, videos, shows, events and merchandise compleatly indapendant and free of a record label. HE's STRUGGILING! And he has been for a while. But, even after dropping out of school, couch surfing for two years, constant eveictions, violence, drugs and debauchery he has continued to work. A new E.P "Your Friendly Neighborhood Struggle Rapper" is coming soon and behind it in the cut, are two to three more E.P's of orginal music and an album. However all of this cost money, from the recording to the mixing and mastering to the marketing and promotion, video shoots and everything else that goes into the making, promoting and distribution of music. And remember, HE's STRUGGILING! This nigga has been workin the same 9 to 5 for the past going on 3 years at a corner store in the burbs. Man has no type of car and will still drink a 40 oz like he's 17.
