Emergency fund

My name is Leonel, I have ALS ( lou gehrig's disease).All my life have change since I was diagnose in  September 2013, as well as my family life. At this point I can’t move any part of my body, I cant talk, eat for my self, I can only communicate using a computer that I control with my eyes. In addiction to my disease my family finances are affected. I cant do anything to work and my wife is my 24 hr care giver and she is unable to work. Every time I have a doctors appt is a nightmare since so many thing need to be coordinated in order for me to make it and after all is done many times i had lost all my appt because the insurance transportation never shows up. Also I’m seeking a new treatment that came out to treat ALS( Radicava )and I have to go to an infusion center to recived in aventura and I leave by the Miami airport. The treatment is everyday for 14 days then a 14 days off and then again the same cicle. Without my own transportation I may loose the cycle and is critical I don’t miss any of the infusions. If I was able to afford a minivan I would have done it without asking for help but I can’t my family and I only money is  my disability check. I really appreciate any help.
