Shortly after 4:00 a.m on December 4th, 2017, family member Tate Adkins, 24 years old, was involved in a hit and run as he was walking home. The crash has left him in the Trauma Unit on Life Support at Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center, Baton Rouge, La.
Tate has received 4 pints of blood and 1 pint of plasma. He is bleeding on 3 different spots of the brain, fractured veterbrae in his neck, broken sinus cavity, broken tail bone. Also, one kidney is damaged and his liver. Spleen is ruptured. As of Wednesday, December 6th, Doctors did surgery on broken femur bone. Surgery went well, loss alot of blood however. Tate is still recovering and currently showing signs of breathing more on his own.
Please help this family with the medical expenses that are accumulating daily. Thank you.
