Tara's Recovery Fund

On the night of October 28, 2016, Tara’s life changed forever. After a fun day at a work Halloween function, she returned home with her boyfriend for the night when the unthinkable happened. Within an instant, Tara was a victim of a brutal domestic assault attack. She didn’t see it coming a mile away, there were no signs, no signals, no history of violence, nothing. Tara quickly found herself fighting for her life, with only thoughts of her girls keeping her from closing her eyes.

Thankfully, Tara is a fighter and she will heal. But, she was left with severe injuries, both physical and emotional, and a long recovery ahead. But she is going to miss a lot of time from work to recover, and will also be needing neck surgery in the future, which will put her on bed rest for a significant amount of time. As we all know, life does not stop just because we are down and out. And there are going to be many medical bills in the future as well as long term therapy for both her and her girls, not to mention just her routine day-to-day living expenses.

Tara’s family is asking for your help. Any small amount is something. We are hoping to help ease the stress of being out of work and having medical bills and living expenses to worry about. Tara and her girls are going to need time for healing, without having to worry about how they are going to financially survive.
