LRTT Tanzania Teaching Fellowship

Hello folks! My name is Dene Gainey, a classroom teacher of 12 years now. I currently teach English Language Arts, Technology, and Gifted students. I am additionally a veteran of the US Air Force. I am also a full-time student working on my doctoral degree. I am elated that I have been accepted into the LRTT (Limited Resource Teacher Training) Fellowship Program and will be traveling to Tanzania in July 2018! I am very excited about the distinct opportunity to help teachers in Tanzania to develop their skillsets in order to serve their students. This is a unique, first-time, month-long opportunity for me! This is global education, hands-on learning, teaching, and development.  As part of the funding, I will have to pay for the fellowship itself, the flight to and from Tanzania and preparation for attending (vaccinations and such). Thank you in advance for your consideration and know that by so doing, you are aiding in global education. It goes MUCH farther than me.
