Tanzania Midwifery Elective

Hi! I am fundraising to go to Dar es Salaam in Tanzania for 3 weeks during my elective midwifery placement next year and would love your support in getting there!

I plan to take equipment donations for the hospital and baby clothes etc so your funding will help me purchase these items and I will collect item donations from anyone who would like to offer support. This money will also help pay for flights, my visa, accommodation and registration with the company worktheworld who will be arranging everything for me. They are the leading global company in healthcare electives and this will be a once in a lifetime opportunity to broaden my knowledge and experience further (particularly regarding potential conditions/diseases/outcomes that are seen less often in the Western World) and help me to become a more competent practitioner as I qualify. It will also just be an amazing opportunity to experience global differences in midwifery care and provide support to women in need.
