This weekend, we're previewing a festival version of our app —Tanji ™ — for Tribeca Film Festival in NYC! We're giving festival-goers the opportunity to easily find & support women-centric films, shorts, talks & events.
Over the past year we've been building our company — from incorporating as a social purpose corporation (doing business for good), forming our co-founding partnership with award-winning Tangerine Entertainment, fostering an army of early audiences for our app, creating branding & investor-ready pitch materials, prototyping, to garnering our first advisors — including powerhouse ally, director PAUL FEIG. Without our enthusiastic supporters, Tanji could not have gone from an idea to #Tribeca2017.
After 2 years of bootstrapping — we're at a critical point and we need a rapid infusion of seed support.
We're actively pitching accredited investors, angels, foundations and accelerators. Within the next couple of months we'll be laser-focused working on our total raise, but we need some bridge support today from champions who believe in us and Tanji.
Tanji is the first mobile ticketing service and amplifier for women-centric content and its creators. Not only are we an efficient audience community-builder, aggregator and beacon—but Tanji promises to be a powerful consumer-driven disruptor leveling the playing field for gender equality on-screen & behind the camera.
We are at the intersection of audiences, technology & film equality.
All funds raised will go towards crucial operating expenses needed right now to keep our momentum. Funds will go directly towards: costs associated with investor pitch meetings & support, legal needs, continued product development from cloud infratructure to digital design, rapid-response campiagning & audience-building, and general day-to-day support.
We've come SO far and are fighting with everything we have to bring Tanji to a full beta market this fall!
