Tammy's Battle Against Brain Cancer

Tammy's Battle Against Brain Cancer

Early in December my sister Tammy Gordon Jacobs was diagnosed with a very rare and serious form of brain cancer called Glioblastoma. The tumor was in the cerebellum wrapped around the brainstem. Tammy underwent surgery at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. The doctors were able to remove 90% of the tumor. While recovering from brain surgery Tammy began her battle against brain cancer. It has required hours of occupational and physical therapy and now she has begun a rigorious regimen of radiation and chemotherapy.
The reason for this fund is to help the Jacobs family with mounting medical costs. Unfortunately at this time Tammy is unable to return to her job as a labor and delivery nurse at Baptist Women's Hospital. Many of the medical costs are not fully covered by insurance and they will only get more expensive as treatments continue. The fund will help give Tammy and her family some peace of mind as she wages this courageous battle against brain cancer.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated!
