Dear Friends & Family,
My big sister has been diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the pelvis and rectum at the end of September of this year. This was a devastating blow to her and all of us. She has been through so much through her life, She is a firecracker. She has a heart of gold, and the funniest human being I know. She is a hot mess most days (in a good way), a super loyal friend, a blessed sister, daughter, aunt, and all around crazy-awesome human being. She is one of those friends who we all pray to find. She has such a love for the Lord. Her faith is keeping her going. Plus the love she has for her sons and daughter-in-laws. And the love she has for her 4 grandchildren is out of this world they mean every thing in this world to her. Her family and friends mean a lot to her and she would do anything for them. Her happy place is to be surrounded by people that love her and that she loves. What puts a huge smile on her face is being at Disneyland with her family. And that being said here is little back story, in 2004 She had to have her colon removed and wear a bag. They diagnosed her with Ulcerative Colitis. Then in 2009 she had to have 3 brain surgeries for Arnold Chiari Malformation. In 2013 she was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis at that time she went on Social Security Disability. (As you can see she is a fighter and she will never give up). She then had to move to Idaho to stay with her mom. When they granted her disability her medicare only paid 80% and she pays 20%in that county they didn't offer a supplemental insurance option to cover the 20% that medicare wouldn't pickup. So needless to say the 20% of all her bills are adding up quickly. With all the treatments and the 2 stays in hospital. The first stay was for a week and half. She is in the hospital now and going on 11 days and not sure when she will get out. We would like to help with the cost of her upcoming treatments to offset the financial stress that a diagnosis like this brings, so that she may fully focus on getting better.
