Jonesing for Support

I do not know of another human that has more people refer to them as “best friend” than Tim Jones.   Tim has been battling cancer since 1994.   But for those closest to him, we know that “cancer” has never defined Tim Jones.   His personality and attitude are magnetic. His positivity and smile are contagious.   And if you don’t have a best friend with a smile as big and happy as Tim’s, then your life is just not complete.

For the past 25 years Tim has successfully endured surgeries, radiation, and chemotherapy treatments and now Tim faces another fight.   He will have to undergo brain surgery to remove a large cavernoma that is putting pressure on his brain.   Recently, it has started growing causing balance and vision issues.     He will have to remain in the hospital at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas for 5 days after the procedure.   Then he will have to have someone stay with him in a hotel for a couple of weeks for recovery and to revisit MD Anderson for daily checkups.  

The estimate for Tim’s travel, hotel, and food expenses that he will incur while in Texas over the next couple of months is $6,000.    Any contributions, prayers, and support are very much appreciated.
