Talking Walls is a 100% not for profit community venture, we welcome and appreciate any and all support available. Talking Walls 2018 is the inaugural multi-day mural arts festival for Charlotte, NC. Organized by local artists and other community members, Talking Walls is a celebratory event that captures the powerful impact of public art in our community.
With the help of our sponsors & individual donors like yourself, we are bringing 16 artists to Charlotte, NC this October 10-13th. They will leave behind large-scale murals for the everyone in the city to enjoy. During the week, festival goers are invited to travel the mural sites to engage with the artists and experience a variety of activation stations that promote community arts. Public art is so important to a growing city like Charlotte. Talking Walls is dedicated to giving back to the community by motivating the public in creative dialogue, providing opportunities for both emerging and professional artists, generating activations meant to bring people together, and transforming forgotten spaces for our city.
The costs associated with an endeavor like this are great and include; travel, lodging, food, paint, supplies, lifts & safety equipment. A big thanks to our gracious sponsors & donors helping to make this event the best it can be. Any bit helps in creating this unforgettable arts experience. This truly is a community effort & we need your help to transform & uplift the city.
All donations over $100 will receive a tax-deductible donation receipt from the Arts & Science Council, the fiscal agent of Talking Walls.
