Takuya's Phillippines Missions Trip

I am Takuya Luckett, a senior student at Kings Christian College this year. I have the privilege to be a part of the Philippines Mission trip team
Each year, Kings takes a group of students, along with many medical supplies to take care of those who are less fortunate than us who live a happy, stable life. In the past, groups who attended the trip served the local community by assisting with feeding the children, leading worship and church services, preaching, evangelizing and helping in the local clinic. Students attending this trip will be working with Word International Ministries in Manila.
This trip spans over 10 days (September 11-22) and will approximately cost $1800. All fees in this trip are used for the medical supplies brought over food for the less fortunate, and taking less fortunate kids out on an amazing trip around manila. Medical supplies supplied are items such as vaccinations, bandages, medical equipment to equip doctors, dental supplies, and various other supplies in order to cater to what the sick and injured need most, all to help the less fortunate.
During the trip, students and I will be taking part in evangelizing and spreading the Word of God throughout all areas as we are called to ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation’ (Mark 16:15). Previous years, students have witnessed miracles all throughout the trip. Healing to those who could not hear or speak, and raising ones out of their wheelchairs and making them walk, and dance once more. This, paired with the amazing opportunity to bring the Love of God into the Pilipino community is definitely something incredible, and a life changing experience.
