Taking Care of Chavez

Hello, my name is Evander Russ and I am currently training to be a Licensed Practical Nurse in order to take care of my brother Chavez Russ full time.

Recently the family learned our mother will not be returning this year to be his primary care giver, this and the uncertainty of who will be around reliably to take care of Chavez has made me realize that I should step up to be there for him.

Chavez is a normal guy, he enjoys the same things we do, he is just paralyzed from the neck down. Worse is due to a lack of transportation he is limited to the house making personal interaction with the people he cares about all the more important.

Currently I am studying full time and at night usually providing care for my brother. Getting consistent work is difficult in this situation but I have no option than to keep moving forward.
