headspace Wagga Wagga is excited to be announced as one of the twelve charities for Thomas Bros Wagga Wagga Takes Two in 2019. Thomas Bros Wagga Wagga Takes Two is an annual event that pairs local celebrities with accomplished singers to perform and raise money for local charities around Wagga Wagga and the Riverina. Thomas Bros Wagga Wagga Takes Two has now been around for over 10 years and has raised over $1.5 Million for local charities and organisations.
headspace Wagga Wagga first opened their doors in March 2008. headspace Wagga Wagga is a place where young people who are going through a tough time can go to get support. We provide a safe and confidential environment for young people to access services across four core areas including physical health, mental health, alcohol and other drug support, and work and study assistance. At headspace Wagga Wagga, young people can receive support from a range of professionals and all of our workers are skilled in listening to the needs of young people.
headspace Wagga Wagga is operated by Relationships Australia Canberra & Region. All headspace services are funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and are administered by local primary health networks.

“I’m Dane McGuirk from Hit 93.1 and I’ll be singing with Kildare Catholic College’s music teacher Mel Cotterill.
This is such a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness about the amazing work that headspace Wagga Wagga does in our community. It was a no brainer for me to partner with headspace Wagga Wagga for Thomas Brothers Wagga Wagga Takes Two. Mental health and wellbeing are so important – but what’s more important is the realisation that there is help out there and someone to listen; this is where headspace comes in.
Recently my wife's cousin died by suicide. He was only 14 and I want to assist in the prevention of further heartache by doing my part in raising awareness about youth mental health.”
